THANKS TO ALL OUR RUNNERS WHO SIGNED UP!
The Race for Rescue, Oahu Search and Rescue’s primary fund raising event, is a 5K run that has been held each year, in October at the scenic Ka’ena Point State Park. OSAR relies on this event to fund our organization for the next year, covering costs like insurance, technical rescue gear, and educational supplies. Despite the challenges of COVID, we are still having the race this year, but we will be taking it virtual!
What’s a virtual run you ask? It’s a way that allows people both locally, and far away, to participate in the race, at a location and time of their choosing! We’d love to see runs occur in all 50 States! You still run your 5K but you will have the flexibility (and security) of doing it where and when you want, within the Race Window time period. And best of all, you’ll still get a cool tshirt, be eligible for some awesome prizes, and be helping out a great cause.
Sign up today... run a 5k any time in October!
